Ayreon - Hopelessly Slipping Away

"Strong concepts are always at the heart of Ayreon (Arjen Lucassen) music and this gave us a big head start going into creating the video for 'Hopelessly Slipping Away'. Arjen presented us with a story of a ghost hopelessly trying to reach out to his beloved wife who clearly feels his presence but can’t see or hear him. This along with the established sci-fi setting of the album 'Transitus' gave us inspiration to create vivid computer generated landscapes and scenes for the characters (captured on green screen and portrayed by Cammie Gilbert & Tommy Karevik) to inhabit. And finally, to have the video feature narration by the legendary Doctor Who actor Tom Baker was the icing on the cake!" - Miles Skarin
