THE MUTE GODS

VIDEO PRODUCTION / cinematography / VFX

Since 2015, we've assisted the rock band The Mute Gods with video production projects to promote their music.

The band's leader Nick Beggs has been hugely supportive of our work and the videos we've created for The Mute Gods are each unique in their concept and execution, whilst staying true to Nick's creative vision.

If we had to pick a favourite out of the six music videos we've produced for the band, it would have to be the dark, sinister 'Feed The Troll'. This video allowed us to get really creative with cinematography and use of editing to make something very unsettling and disturbing, which we feel matched the song's concept very well.

We also produced a 4K 360 video for the song 'Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me' which utilised advanced video production techniques to deliver a truly immersive music video experience.

ONE DAY FT. ALEX LIFESON

"Possibly my favorite MUTE GODS song so far? I hope you enjoy it too. If not, jog on." - Nick Beggs, The Mute Gods

The video for 'One Day' features Nick Beggs, Roger King and Marco Minnemann performing superimposed onto walls of LED TV's on shopfront windows. The shopfront scene was generated in Cinema4D and rendered in OctaneRender.

The video also features advanced VFX reflections and rain effects - in total the video took over a week to fully render!

TARDIGRADES WILL INHERIT THE EARTH

“Just in case you have any hope left for the future of mankind, this video includes help for the hard of understanding.

I know I’m not the only person who feels the way I do. Other people understand the state of the world and what’s at stake as we make one terrifyingly bad decision after another.

This album asks people to take off their rose-tinted spectacles and consider the reality facing us. At this point in my career, I feel strongly that it’s important to use music as a vehicle for truth, not just feel-good entertainment.”

- Nick Beggs, The Mute Gods

WE CAN'T CARRY ON

“We Can’t Carry On, is a reflection of the times in which we live. Caught between war and political madness, something has to give.”

- Nick Beggs, The Mute Gods

NIGHTSCHOOL FOR IDIOTS

"This is the last of five video clips from the album, 'Do nothing till you hear from me'. This track 'Night school for idiots' offers up the idea that looking back is not always easy."

- Nick Beggs, The Mute Gods

PRAYING TO A MUTE GOD

"Welcome to the Church of the Mute God. Where terrible things are done in his name."

- Nick Beggs, The Mute Gods

FATHER DAUGHTER

“It’s possibly the most important song on The Mute Gods album – a real father/daughter dialogue that was not easy to have.”

Nick Beggs - The Mute Gods

DO NOTHING TILL YOU HEAR FROM ME

“The track was inspired by the speeches of General Dwight D Eisenhower and his warning to the free world about the rise of the Independent Industrial Military Complex.”

- Nick Beggs, The Mute Gods
